KLA Basketball Advancement – Booking, Payment & Liability Policy

 

By registering for or participating in any KLA Basketball Advancement training session, clinic, camp, or program, the participant and/or parent or legal guardian acknowledges and agrees to the following terms and conditions:

 

Payment Policy: Any remaining balance not paid through the website is due at the participant’s first scheduled session. Failure to pay any outstanding balance may result in suspension or cancellation of participation until payment is received.

 

Cancellation & Refund Policy: Cancellations made less than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled session are not eligible for a refund. KLA Basketball Advancement will make reasonable efforts to reschedule missed sessions when scheduling and availability permit; however, makeup sessions are not guaranteed. No refunds will be provided for missed sessions, no-shows, or late cancellations.

 

Assumption of Risk: The participant understands that basketball training and related athletic activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, physical contact, equipment-related injuries, overexertion, illness, serious bodily injury, permanent disability, and death. The participant and/or parent or guardian voluntarily assumes all risks associated with participation.

 

Release of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, the participant and/or parent or guardian releases, waives, discharges, and agrees to hold harmless KLA Basketball Advancement, its owners, coaches, trainers, employees, contractors, volunteers, agents, representatives, affiliates, and facility providers from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, liabilities, damages, injuries, losses, costs, expenses, or attorney’s fees arising out of or related to participation in any KLA Basketball Advancement activity, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, property damage, disability, or death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, except where prohibited by law or resulting from gross negligence or willful misconduct.

 

Medical Authorization: In the event of an injury or medical emergency, KLA Basketball Advancement may obtain or authorize emergency medical treatment deemed necessary. Any medical expenses incurred shall be the sole responsibility of the participant and/or parent or guardian.

 

Scheduling Changes: KLA Basketball Advancement reserves the right to cancel, postpone, modify, or reschedule any session due to weather, facility availability, illness, emergencies, safety concerns, insufficient enrollment, or circumstances beyond its control.

 

Acknowledgment: By completing a booking, the participant and/or parent or legal guardian confirms that they have read, understand, and voluntarily agree to all terms contained in this policy and waiver.
